Corbin’s parents were Kilmer Blain Corbin, a successful lawyer and Alma Corbin an elementary school teacher. He studied Theater at Texas Tech where he performed a lot of roles. After two years in the Marines, Corbin began searching for acting work at age 21. In 1964, he moved to New York. Barry has a daughter named Shannon Ross. Currently, he is playing the role of Coach Whitey Durham on ‘One Tree Hill’.
