Season 1

Season 1 was premiered on 9-23-2003 and the season finale ‘The Games that Play Us’ was aired on 5-11-2004.

Tree Hill, a small town and the home to famous high school basketball team ‘The Tree Hill Ravens’. Two half brothers Lucas Scott and Nathan Scott are grown up in the same town but the guys don’t have a contact with each other throughout their childhood. They both are grown up on the opposite sides of track but nothing can prevent those becoming teammates and competitors. Dan (dad of both guys) was in love with Lucas’ mom but left her along with unborn Lucas. In college, Dan dated Deb (Nathan’s mom) and she got pregnant. Dan and Deb got married and Dan never thought about Lucas and his mom. Karen, Lucas’s single parent raised the boy with the help of his uncle Keith.

Nathan is playing for Ravens and Keith recommends Lucas to the Ravens’ coach. Nathan hates Lucas and he tries his best to make his life harder in the team and the reason is that Lucas has a crush on Nathan’s girlfriend Peyton. Nathan and Haley (Lucas’s friend) fall in love with each other. At the end of the season, the boys are destined to become close chums or bitter enemies — while a number of deep dark secrets involving the rest of Tree Hill begin bubbling to the surface.

Coach decides to punish Nathan and Lucas and throws them out off the bus for their misbehavior and let them to walk some 30 miles. On their way to home, they’re kidnapped at the gunpoint by some punks. On the home front, Dan and Keith seize the evening without the boys to take Nathan’s mother Deb and Lucas’s Karen out, but land in the same restaurant where they get into a fight of their own.
