Remember us as a part of ‘One Tree Hill’, said Chad and Hilarie
May 22nd, 2009
The season 6 of ‘One Tree Hill’ wrapped up on May 18, 2009 and the season finale was entitled ‘Remember Me as a Time of Day‘. It was the last episode of the show on which we saw Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton. So that’s what made me to give such kinda title to the post. The episode would always be remembered by the fans of the show, not being the season finale but as the episode which brought major changes to the star cast. Two major characters of the show made their last appearance on the season finale. Yeah, all the fans already knew about that.
Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton play the central role of Lucas and Peyton, on the show and their departure would definitely be having its effects on the show. The void left by their departure would never be filled. I don’t know what it would be like to watch One Tree Hill without our very favorite celebrities. It was February 2009 when rumors started making rounds that One Tree Hill TV show would face major cast changes. At that time, the CW Network announced the seventh season of series but it didn’t make clear which characters would return in the upcoming season.
Here’s a little glimpse of the episode which marked the end of Chad and Burton’s journey with One Tree Hill. We saw that Peyton was dealing with the labor pains. Meanwhile, Karen gave them a surprise visit and assisted in the birth of their daughter who was named Sawyer Brooke Scott. Brooke and Victoria got together to relaunch Clothes Over Bro’s. Nathan, who had been released by the Chiefs, returned to face Haley and Jamie. Dan apologized for what he had done in past. And finally, Peyton and Lucas left One Tree Hill along with baby Sawyer in the backseat!
Though we all are waiting for the next season of the show, but I am really afraid of what it would be like to see One Tree Hill episodes without Lucas and Payton, two hot favorites of the show. Click here to download all the latest episodes of One Tree Hill seasons.
